Profile
Professor Tatia Lee is a registered clinical psychologist and a certified clinical neuropsychologist. She is the Director of the State Key Laboratory of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at HKU, and a Visiting Professor at King’s College London.
Professor Lee’s research is at the frontiers of neuropsychology and human neuroscience, focusing on the neuroplastic underpinnings of neurocognitive and affective functions that benefit brain and psychological health, especially applicable for older people. She has published numerous scientific papers. She serves as an associate editor/editorial board member of influential journals that publish data-guiding research and practice of clinical psychology/neuropsychology and human neuroscience.
Professor Lee’s research and clinical achievements are recognised internationally. She has received numerous awards in recognition of her research and professional excellence, including the State Scientific and Technology Profess National Award (2nd Class), the National Education Bureau’s Research Output Prize (2nd Class), and the Hong Kong Research Grant Council Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship. She is an elected Fellow of learned societies, including the American Psychological Association (Society of Clinical Psychology and Society of Clinical Neuropsychology), Association for Psychological Science (Clinical Psychology), the American College of Professional Neuropsychology, and the United Kingdom Academy of Social Sciences.
